After long months of speculation, Hongjoong from ATEEZ has officially become a member of the “Balmain Army.” On September 5th, Balmain shared numerous pictures of Hognjoong from his recent photo session with Women’s Wear Daily.
The “Balmain Army” is a one-of-a-kind grouping that reflects on the unique visions of Olivier Rousteing. All members played a part in innovating the runway.
Hongjoong has long been vocal about his love for the brand. He has worn countless works from the brand during his time as a K-Pop idol. He has even expressed his admiration for their creative director, Olivier Rousteing on multiple occasions.
And to the surprise of many, the admiration goes both ways. The brand not only affectionately referred to him as “Balmain Prince Hongjoong” but they also formally welcomed him into their esteemed group of representatives.
This is considered as a dream come true for Hongjoong, and he thanks his fans for helping him have a spot in a place where he could be recognized by the fashion icon.
This exciting development follows Hongjoong’s attendance at Balmain’s presentation during Paris Fashion Week in March. He was personally invited by none other than Olivier Rousteing himself.
Subsequently, the idol has showcased his affiliation with the brand.His frequent showcasing has sparked widespread speculation about a potential collaboration with the renowned French fashion house.
