BABYMONSTER Ignites the Stage with a Blazing Dance Performance for “BATTER UP”

On December 4 at midnight KST, YG’s new girl group, BABYMONSTER, released the performance version music video of their debut song “Batter Up.”Fans can get a closer look at the choreography of their debut, with the six members appearing cooler with their hip-hop outfits.

Released on November 27, their official music video set a record for the most views in 24 hours on YouTube. It amassed 69 million views upon release and also claimed the top spot on YouTube Global Charts. Furthermore, it has become the fastest KPop group debut music video to reach 50 million views on YouTube, surpassing the three-year record set by aespa’s song “Black Mamba.”

BABYMONSTER, a South Korean girl group under YG Entertainment, consists of members Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora and Chiquita. On May 14, 2023, the group released their pre-debut single “DREAM.” As a six-member group, they made their eagerly anticipated debut on November 27, 2023, excluding Ahyeon who is on hiatus due to health concerns.

Fans expressed their excitement upon the release of the debut music video.
