YG’s BABYMONSTER is scheduled to debut on November 27, 2023, as announced by YG on November 10 at midnight KST.
YG Entertainment, one of the ‘big three’ agencies alongside JYP and SM, is the company behind renowned KPop groups such as BIGBANG, BLACKPINK, WINNER, and TREASURE.
The new Kpop girl group BABYMONSTER is composed of members Pharita, Ahyeon, Ruka, Haram, Asa, Chiquita, and Rora. They released their pre-debut single ‘DREAM‘ on May 14, 2023.
YG previously stated that they have been extremely meticulous in selecting BABYMONSTER’s debut song. “We kindly request your understanding for the slight delay from our initially shared debut date of September, as it was a result of this dedicated and thorough process,” YG added.
On November 9, the company unveiled a teaser image of the group. It featured a bold red background with the silhouette of the members.
K-pop fans expressed relief following a recent announcement. Many are eager to discover the kind of music that will be released.
