Baekhyun’s newly established label revealed that the artist is scheduled to host his solo concert titled “Lonsdaleite” on March 16 and 17 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.
In January 2021, Baekhyun conducted his inaugural online solo concert, titled “BAEKHYUN: LIGHT.” “Lonsdaleite” signifies his first in-person solo concert in about three years and the first of its kind in 12 years since his debut. Notably, this event will make Baekhyun the youngest male solo artist to host a concert at the KSPO Dome.
The title of the concert, ‘Lonsdaleite,’ is inspired by a type of diamond that is 58% harder than conventional diamonds. The official poster, unveiled at 10 AM on the 22nd, vividly conveys this powerful essence through its radiant light.
A particularly noteworthy aspect of “Lonsdaleite” is that it marks Baekhyun’s debut as a solo artist at the prestigious KSPO Dome. This significant venue, deeply intertwined with the history of K-POP, sees Baekhyun, born in 1992, achieving a milestone by becoming the youngest among the 19 male solo artists who have graced its stage.
Recently, Baekhyun triumphantly hosted his ‘Snack Party’ Seoul fan meeting, and he is set to continue his national tour with upcoming shows at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju on January 27th and the KBS Hall in Busan on February 3rd. The final Busan performance on February 3rd at 7 PM will be live-streamed in 11 CGV theaters nationwide.
Looking ahead, Baekhyun’s highly anticipated 2024 solo concert, ‘Lonsdaleite,’ is scheduled for March 16th and 17th at the renowned KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
