Incredible news for all Blinks out there! All members of BLACKPINK have now gotten top 10 hits on the Billboard Global 200.

Debuting in 2016, BLACKPINK released their first album titled “Square One,” which included their hit song “Boombayah.” As a famous KPop girl group, they have achieved numerous records throughout their time together, including the most viewed video in the first 24 hours, the most viewed live video, and reaching 1 billion views for a song. One of the most successful K-pop groups, BLACKPINK, made history as headliners at Coachella. They performed in 2019 and also had a recent performance this year.

As soloists, they have appeared on the chart five times, while BLACKPINK has placed four songs in the highest tier on the tally.  Lisa achieved two solo top 10 hits on the Billboard Global 200 chart with “Lalisa” and “Money”. “Lalisa” reached its peak at Number 2 in 2021. Shortly after, she released the song “Money”, which climbed to Number 10 on the chart. This made her the only member in the group to have multiple entries in the top 10 region.

Furthermore, Rose made history by becoming the first solo artist among the members to reach Number 1. In March 2021, her single “On the Ground” debuted at Number 1, setting a record-breaking accomplishment for her as a soloist and for the group as a whole.

Jisoo’s solo track “Flower” also made it to the top 10 of the Billboard Global 200 chart. Additionally, Jennie has become the fourth and final member of the South Korean girl group to achieve chart success. Her song is among the most popular tracks globally and has garnered significant attention. Her latest single, “You & Me,” debuted at Number 7 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, with an impressive 65.1 million streams worldwide. This accomplishment is a major milestone in Jennie’s career, as it marks her first entry and top 10 placement on the chart. Prior to this, Jennie released her debut solo song, “Solo,” making her the first BLACKPINK member to release a solo track.

BLACKPINK achieved a total of four top 10 hits on the Billboard Global 200 with songs like “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down.” As stated by Rolling Stone, their huge success is part of the Korean Wave, which refers to the popularity of South Korea’s cultural industry around the globe.

The group received mixed reactions from X. One fan expressed dissatisfaction with the collaboration between Sailor Moon’s creator and YG for Jennie’s solo. However, fans still showed their love for the group, particularly Jennie, who recently released her solo track “You & Me.”

As a group, BLACKPINK continues to reach new heights of success, dominating the global music scene with their chart-topping hits and captivating performances.
