Another achievement unlocked!

South Korean superstar BTS has reached 1.2 billion views on YouTube for their DNA MV on Thursday, February 11.

DNA is the title track for the group’s mini-album Love Yourself: Her, and the music video for the song came out on September 18, 2017 (6 PM KST), which means it took about three years, four months, and 23 days for it to achieve the feat.

BTS, composed of seven members – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – is the first Korean boy group music video to hit this milestone.

Aside from the septet, the only other Korean music videos that have reached over a billion views are PSY’s Gangnam Style and Gentleman, and BLACKPINK’s DDU-DU DDU-DU and Kill This Love.
