BTS’s V is actively preparing to release his debut solo album, “Layover,” scheduled for release on September 8. Fans have already received teasers with two official music videos from the record: “Love Me Again” and “Rainy Days.”
The anticipation of the upcoming tracks only increased the fan’s excitement. During these waiting periods, there has been a range of envy among the group.
One of the reasons that sparked the jealousy is due to the group’s tradition of granting early access to their songs, even for solo projects. Each group member has expressed their habit of sharing their solo tracks with fellow members, and V is no exception.
During a guest appearance on the popular variety show “You Quiz on the Block,” V provided further details about his upcoming album. When asked if he has shared his songs with other BTS members, he revealed that he didn’t tell it to all the members.
He specified that those with whom he could not share his songs usually have hectic schedules. He played his tracks for two members: J-Hope and Jungkook.
“They said ‘It’s so fresh. I’m so happy you found music that suits you perfectly.’” V mentioned.
Interestingly, when Jungkook released his first single, “Seven”, he mentioned in one interview that he and V often exchange their new songs right after recording.
The duo worked even more closely on V’s solo songs, who shared that he even conducted some of the recordings at Jungkook’s residence.
