On October 6 at 9 a.m. KST, (G)I-DLE dropped the official music video for their title track, “I Want That,” from their English-language EP, “HEAT.”
“I Want That” is part of (G)I-DLE’s debut English EP, “HEAT,” which offers a total of five tracks, including “I Do,” “Eyes Roll,” “Flip It,” and “Tall Trees.” “I Do” was pre-released in July 2023, giving fans a taste of what to expect from this highly anticipated release.
The video opens with the members on a boat, set against the backdrop of the soothing sound of waves. Notably, member Yuqi holds a red book with the French phrase ‘c’est la vie,’ which translates to ‘that’s life.’ As the video progresses, the tone shifts dramatically, reflecting a tale of revenge and retribution.
The music video also boasts a special appearance by actor Park Jeong Min, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the visual narrative.
Furthermore, the initial video teaser on October 4 generated fan excitement by offering a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come.
