After the recent break-up, Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol have ceased discussions regarding their potential roles in an upcoming production.
Following the recent separation of actors Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So-hee, attention has shifted towards the project, ‘Delusion’ where their joint participation was considered.
However, it appears unlikely that the two will collaborate on this project.
According to SHOWBOX, the production company behind ‘Delusion’ stated, “Discussions regarding Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee’s involvement in ‘Delusion’ have been discontinued.
Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency, C-JeS Studios, also confirmed, “Ryu Jun Yeol was in the initial stages of considering [the offer to star in] ‘Delusion’ and it is true that the production company requested to halt the discussions. To avoid any detriment to the project, we accepted responsibility for this matter and agreed to suspend the consideration.”
Set in 1935 Gyeongseong and 1800s Shanghai, the webtoon adaptation “Delusion” is a mystery thriller depicting artist Yun Iho’s encounter with the enigmatic woman Song Jeong Hwa during a portrait commission at her hotel.
Director Han Jae Rim, known for films such as “The Show Must Go On,” “The King,” and “Emergency Declaration,” is leading the production.
Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol were offered roles in “Delusion,” but after the news of their recent relationship, they were initially denied by their agencies. Later, they were confirmed by Han So Hee herself through a detailed blog post.
Both agencies confirmed the end of their relationship, pledging to keep their personal lives separate from their professional endeavors.
Actor Ryu Jun Yeol has disclosed his decision not to participate in the project ‘Delusion’.
C-JeS Studio stated, “Ryu Jun Yeol was considering ‘Delusion,’ but upon the production company’s request, we have ceased considerations to ensure no harm to the project.”
Both actors cast in “Dazzle,” based on a webtoon, follow artist Yoon I-ho’s pursuit of the identity and mysteries surrounding the captivating vampire woman, Song Jeong Hwa.
Han So-hee was set to portray Song Jeong-hwa, while Ryu Jun Yeol was considering the role of Yoon I-ho.
However, given their recent breakup, concerns arose regarding Ryu Jun-yeol’s involvement, leading both parties to suspend discussions to safeguard the project.
