South Korean celebrity Lee Hyeri, a K-pop girl group Girl’s Day member, has released a statement addressing rumors surrounding her past relationship.

Lee Hyeri has stated her involvement with Han So Hee and her former boyfriend, Ryu Jun Yeol.

Lee Hyeri posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account regarding her previous relationship. She apologized for her emotions in the post, sparking speculation amidst the controversy surrounding Ryu Jun-Yeol and Han So-Hee’s alleged dating.

Towards the end of the post, she indicated her intention to exercise caution in her actions and words. Moreover, she mentioned that the post would be deleted soon.

“Hello. This is Hyeri. First, I sincerely apologize for the speculations and controversies that arose over the past few days due to my personal emotions,”

“I think I failed to consider the ripple effects that each of my minor actions could have. I sincerely apologize to anyone who was harmed because of me,” she continued.

She also mentioned that she had not been in contact with her ex-boyfriend since their breakup, which is why the recent news took her back.

“Last November, the news was released that my eight-year relationship came to an end. It was not a decision made in a short period of time, and even after the breakup news came out, we had a conversation about talking more [about our situation],” she explained. “However, we have not had any contact or met since that conversation.”

Netizens believed that Hyeri’s post was pertaining to the rumors about So Hee and Jun Yeol, who were speculated to be together in Hawaii.

The actress also said, “Over the past few days, I didn’t explain the reason for my actions because I thought that our conversations were overly personal, and it would only increase fatigue [to the public].”

Hyeri then asked for an apology from anyone she thought had caused harm and stated that she would be more careful in the future.

“If this caused confusion for anyone, I am also sorry for that. Moving forward, I will be more careful with my words and actions. Thank you,” the actress remarked, ending her statement.

Jun Yeol and Hyeri co-starred in “Reply 1988.” The show succeeded significantly, becoming the fifth-highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history and the highest-rated television drama at that time.

In 2017, the two celebrities confirmed their relationship to the public. However, after six years together, they revealed they had parted ways.
