IU revealed her artist’s sixth mini album “The Winning,” mood film on Tuesday, January 30 at 12 a.m KST.
“The Winning” looks to be a big turning point in IU’s celebrated career as she enthralls fans with her own style and musical ability. Fans are excited for the immersive experience that awaits with the release of the whole album because the mood film provides a look into the artistic journey that IU is about to embark on.
On January 24 at 6 p.m., IU’s pre-release song, “Love Wins All,” became available. KST has created history by holding the top spot on a number of local real-time music charts, including Melon’s Top 100, where it had an incredible debut at the top. IU makes history as the first female artist to debut at this level on Melon’s esteemed chart.
The single “Love Wins All” peaked at No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts in more than 23 territories worldwide, demonstrating the song’s strength beyond local charts. IU’s global influence has been seen in nations like Bahrain, Brunei, Cambodia, Cape Verde, the Czech Republic, Finland, Honduras, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and others. Her standing as a musical icon is cemented by her capacity to engage a variety of audiences globally.
In addition to her amazing career in music, IU has dabbled in acting and hosting appearances on radio and television. Her acting career began in 2011 with a supporting role in the teen drama Dream High. She then went on to make a few small TV series appearances. But what really cemented her reputation as a talented performer were her main parts in critically praised dramas like Hotel Del Luna, My Mister, The Producers, and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
The album will be available for purchase on February 20 at 6:00 p.m. KST and will feature “Love wins all,” IU’s most recent pre-release single.
