The IVE comeback is finally here! IVE has showcased their pre-release single, “Either Way” on September 25 at 6:00 PM KST, along with a dreamy music video.

“Either Way” is the first of three title tracks for their mini-album “I’VE MINE.” The song, with lyrics written by Sunwoo Jung-A, performed by IVE, and directed by Yu Kwang Goeng, shares how we cannot stray from the looks of other people. “Either Way” boasts emotional vocals and a unique story everyone can relate to.

The song intends to portray a message of how the harsh words of today’s society can impact an individual, showcasing a message that everyone is good regardless of how society perceives them. The first track to be released from the album has already touched multiple hearts of fans.

The music video presents the regular struggles of people today, which led IVE fans to be emotional after listening to the synth-pop song. Fans also commend the idols’ acting skills, where they showcased their acting talents as they portrayed their emotions seamlessly in the video.

The music video is an experience in itself, as it showcases beautiful cinematography and acting skills with an evidently thought-of storyline to properly portray the message the song intends to send to fans and listeners.

Fans and listeners applauded the group in the comments of the music video, some fans pointing out that it was a refreshing breath of air to experience such vulnerability in a song and music video from a K-Pop group.

IVE’s “Either Way” is the first track from three title songs in their upcoming mini-album.

On September 3, the group announced that they will be returning with their first ever mini-album “I’VE MINE” with “Either Way” by IVE as the first song to be released on September 25, with two more tracks to be released from their title songs, “Off the Record” on October 6 and the third, “Baddie” on October 13. The group aspires to send a strong message to fans with the three title songs that are very different from one another. Other tracks on the album include Holy Moly, OTT, and Payback.
