At 1:00 PM KST, October 6th, the Blackpink member blessed fans with a dance video with her new single ‘You & Me’. The surprise solo was teased on October 4th with the official poster for the special single.
Since its release an hour ago, fans have been rapidly playing the released dance performance video on repeat. They are actively engaging in the comments on YouTube.
One fan writes on YouTube, “I love Jennie, te amamos y apoyaremos en todos tus proyectos porque tú siempre brillas como lo dices en “SOLO”, te quiero Jennie <3 y me hace muy feliz verte triunfar con este temazo ^^” which roughly translates to “I love Jennie, we love you and we will support you in all your projects because you always shine as you say in “SOLO”, I love you Jennie <3 and it makes me very happy to see you succeed with this great song ^^”.
Blinks also took to Reddit to share their sentiments about Jennie’s new solo, praising the aesthetics and visual appeals of the dance performance video. Fans also expressed gratitude that the song can finally be available to stream on music streaming platforms like Spotify, saying that they have been waiting for the release since Jennie first performed it on tour. Blinks also added that they were glad the Coachella version was also available for streaming.
