Jungkook’s solo album ‘Golden’ reached second on the Billboard 200, marking the highest sales a Korean solo artist achieved.
Billboard announced on March 26th that Jungkook’s album “GOLDEN” has maintained its position at No. 113 on the Billboard 200 chart for its 20th consecutive week.
The album “GOLDEN” has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first album by a Korean solo artist to spend 20 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.
In its 20th week, it also maintained its position at No. 24 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 36 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Jungkook extended his record as the longest-charting K-pop soloist on Billboard’s Artist 100, ranking No. 68 in his 32nd week.
In its 20th week on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, his title track “Standing Next to You” maintained its position at No. 9, indicating that it was the ninth highest-selling song of the week in the United States.
Moreover, “Standing Next To You” took No. 27 in its 14th consecutive week on the Pop Airplay chart (which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States).
Ultimately, this week, all three singles from Jungkook’s album “GOLDEN” experienced a rise in positions on Billboard’s global charts. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, “Seven” (featuring Latto) rose to No. 22, “Standing Next to You” to No. 35, and “3D” (featuring Jack Harlow) to No. 101. On the Global 200, “Seven” rose to No. 42, “Standing Next to You” to No. 51, and “3D” to No. 146.
His achievements also extended the Global 200 chart, with “Seven” securing the 13th position, followed closely by “Standing Next to You” at number 14 and “3D” at number 44.
Despite his military commitments, Jungkook, along with the other members of BTS, continues to impact the music industry significantly.
This recent accomplishment showcases Jungkook’s musical talent and ability to captivate audiences worldwide.
