After six years since the release of “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” Park Bo Young reunites with Park Hyung Sik for the spin-off of the series titled “Strong Girl Namsoon.”
The spin-off “Strong Girl Namsoon” tells the story of three generations of women who are born with superstrength. They join forces and get involved in crimes related to drugs, fighting against the villains in the Gangnam area.
Taking the role of Do Bong Soon’s second cousin, Lee Yoo Mi stars as Gang Nam Soon, the main protagonist of the series. Unconventional and high-spirited, Gang Nam Soon possesses incredible strength. Next to her is her mother, Hwang Geum Joo (Kim Jung Eun), a wealthy businesswoman who has a strong sense of justice. Gil Joong Gan (Kim Hae Sook), Nam Soon’s grandmother, fights alongside them as well.
Fans were thrilled to see the stills featuring Ahn Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik) and Do Bong Soon (Park Bo Young). As seen in the behind-the-scenes footage, Ahn Min Hyuk barges towards the police station as Do Bong Soon is being investigated for unknown reasons. He comforted Do Bong Soon and as a response, she began to loosen up. Their cameo was released on the October 14 episode, and it is evident that there is a palpable chemistry between the two actors.
In the recent behind-the-scenes footage, Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik are seen starting the filming of “Strong Girl Namsoon” with a cheerful atmosphere. They occasionally reminisce about their past experience working together on the popular drama “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.”
Park Hyung Sik mentioned that it had been a while since he let his craziness shine, especially after displaying his aegyo. Unfortunately, his aegyo scene was not included in the final cut. However, they did manage to take a selfie together, with Park Bo Young teaching Park Hyung Sik how to do it.
Both actors greeted the viewers in the next interview, expressing how long it had been since they last saw each other. Park Hyung Sik admitted feeling nervous beforehand, but that feeling quickly disappeared when he saw Park Bo Young. The actress also acknowledged that despite the time that has passed, the chemistry between them is still present.
