Korean actor Park Hyung-sik shared his thoughts about his upcoming visit to the Philippines in February 2024 for his “SIKcret Time” fan meeting tour.
“Since it’s been a long time since my last visit to the Philippines, I hope that many of my fans will be able to attend the fan meeting,” Park said during a Zoom conference on Tuesday.
When asked about what Filipino fans can expect, Park hinted at the possibility of performing the original soundtracks (OSTs) from his dramas.
“It’s been a long time since I last visited here. I’m really sorry for visiting late. Since I’m coming here after a long time, I’ve prepared a lot for you guys so I hope you guys expect a lot from me and I hope many of you guys come,” he said.
This fan meet signifies the commencement of Park Hyung-sik’s goals for 2024: to establish connections with his fans and ignite his enthusiasm for upcoming projects.
“The goal for me this year is, of course, to finish my fan meeting successfully, and if [I am] given an opportunity, I would like to showcase myself more to you guys for more projects.”
Apart from his fan meet engagements, Hyung-sik is scheduled to feature in an upcoming K-Drama named “Doctor Slump,” slated for release on January 27.
Hyung-Sik made his debut in the 2012 TV series “Dummy Mommy” and has since appeared in numerous dramas and films, such as “The Heirs” (2013), “High Society” (2015), “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth” (2016), “Strong Girl Bong-soon” (2017), “Suits” (2018), “Happiness” (2021), and “Our Blooming Youth” (2023).
Those mentioned series and films solidified his reputation in South Korea’s entertainment sphere, securing him prestigious recognitions like the Excellence Award at the 2017 KBS Drama Awards and the Best New Actor Award at the 2015 APAN Star Awards.
