tVN unveils stills for their new upcoming drama ‘Marry My Husband’ featuring Park Min Young who went through a rigorous preparation for the role.

Based on a webtoon, “Marry My Husband” tells the story of Jiwon, a cancer patient who tragically discovers her husband’s infidelity with her best friend and dies. She is reincarnated as her younger self and given the opportunity to alter her fate. Determined to live happily, her first step towards this goal is a plan for revenge, which involves marrying her former best friend to her unfaithful husband.

Park Min Young will portray Kang Ji Won, a character known for her patience. She leads a dual life as a dedicated housewife and worker, until she catches her husband in an affair with her best friend. Complicating matters further, Kang Ji Won gets diagnosed with cancer.

The newly released photos depict Park Min Young in a patient gown and a beanie. Her pale complexion suggests she’s battling cancer and dealing with an unsupportive husband.

“Park Min Young went to great lengths to realistically portray the role of a cancer patient. Her commitment surprised everyone on set. The dramatic changes in Kang Ji Won’s character, before and after her revival, will be brilliantly depicted. So, we encourage you to take interest,” said the production team.

Korean drama fans are currently discussing Park Min Young’s commitment to her role. She became thinner and paler, even dropping her weight down to 37 kg to fully embody her character.
