Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) finally unveils the poster of Park Seo Joon as a supreme leader of a planet in the upcoming film “The Marvels”.

Park Seo Joon, known for his roles in “Hwarang” and “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” has been cast to play the role of Yan, Prince of Aladna. In the comics, Prince Yan is engaged to Lila Cheney, a mutant and musician. Although neither of them is enthusiastic about the marriage, they feel obligated to go through with it due to Aladna’s customs. Prince Yan seeks Captain Marvel’s assistance in stopping the wedding.

In the comics, Prince Yan is depicted as having short blond hair and blue eyes. However, the Marvel poster shows Park Seo Joon with a regal appearance, wearing a red suit and sporting slick long hair.

According to IMDb, the MCU film “The Marvels” focuses on Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) getting entangled with Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani)  and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) as the trio works together to save the universe. It is the 33rd film of Marvel Cinematic Universe, the sequel to the film Captain Marvel (2019) and the continuation to Ms. Marvel (2022), a television miniseries. The film is directed by Nia DaCosta, who is known for directing Candyman (2021).

Marvel Studios recently released the poster today, as seen from Park Seo Joon’s official X account. Fans expressed their excitement to see him on the big screen. Another fan stated the following on X:

“The Marvels” movie is not my favorite genre, but I really love Seo Joon as an actor! And as our V’s friend, I’m reserving my tickets!! #TheMarvels
