The much awaited season 2 of Netflix’s smash hit show “Physical: 100,” is scheduled to debut on March 19 entitled “Underground.”

With the unprecedented popularity of its first season under its belt, the program is expected to amaze viewers once more.

In the high-stakes survival game “Physical: 100,” 100 competitors, all of whom are well-known for their physical prowess compete to have the perfect “body.”

The series created history when it was ranked #1 in Netflix’s Global TOP 10 TV Shows (Non-English) category and captivated viewers in 82 countries over the course of six weeks, accumulating an outstanding 192.63 million hours of cumulative viewing time.

“Underground,” the second season’s title, takes viewers to a brand-new, immersive setting deep within an underground mine. The show’s developed missions promise unmatched intensity and thrill, blurring the limits between cooperation and competitiveness, as well as sacrifice and desire.

As producer Jang Ho Gi said, “If season 1 was inspired by ancient Greece, then season 2 is inspired by the underworld, especially underground mines.”

Anticipations are elevated for an even more intense physical confrontation, featuring a cast of competitors engaging in thrilling bouts against one another. Former and present national representatives from a wide range of sectors, including FBI diplomats, mixed martial arts practitioners, police officials, soldiers, actors, and idol singers, have participated in the competition at an astounding 30% rate.

The teaser poster highlights the contestants’ enthusiasm and resolve as they face their own limitations in the shadowy depths of the underground mine, hinting at the exciting conflicts to come.

The show’s central topic, which delves into the concept of ‘perfect physicality’ and the challenging circumstances that competitors must overcome to achieve this ideal, is highlighted by producer Jang Ho Gi. Fans should expect an exciting viewing experience as he teases even more difficult adventures and surprising turns.

On March 19, ‘Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground’ will launch globally on Netflix.
