Shin Ye Eun joins Rowoon in a new historical drama

According to media outlet Hankook report on Tuesday, February 20, Shin Ye Eun and Rowoon might be featured in the next historical drama “Takryu.”

Shin Ye Eun’s agency, NPIO Entertainment, responded to the story by saying, “She is positively reviewing [the offer] to star in ‘Takryu.’”

The main character in this historical drama will be played by actor Park Seo Ham, who has experience in dramas such as Semantic Error and One Fine Week.

The new on-screen chemistry between Rowoon and Shin Ye Eun makes this next drama one of the most anticipated ones.

The second historical drama by author Cheon Sung Il, who spearheaded the success of “The Slave Hunters,” is titled “Takryu” and it narrates the tale of a man who begins his career as a gangster at Han River’s Mapo Port, the center of the Joseon Dynasty’s economy and logistics, and who eventually becomes a legend of Joseon based only on his physical attributes.

Following the success of his first drama, The Slave Hunters, Chun Sung Ii, a scriptwriter, will be releasing his second historical drama.

In addition, Muddy Stream is purportedly going to be directed by Choi Chang Min, who gained notoriety for helming the historical drama Masquerade in 2012.

Meanwhile, Shin Ye Eun, has already gained popularity for her role as a teenage Park Yeon Jin in Song Hye Kyo’s smash revenge drama The Glory. Her noteworthy role in the hit high school drama A-TEEN brought her initial fame. Later, she starred in other highly regarded plays, including He Is Psychometric, Rookie Cops, The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, and Revenge Of Others.

The actress will appear with Kim Tae Ri, Moon So Ri, and Ra Mi Ran in the forthcoming K-drama Jeong Nyeon.

Although Muddy Stream’s filming timetable is yet unknown, fans are anticipating a lot from Shin Ye Eun’s historical drama, which will be a Disney+ original.
