SM Entertainment announced a girl version of the SuperM group on Tuesday, December 27, composing its top female idols—Girls on Top (GOT).
In August 2019, SM Entertainment debuted a new boy group composed of top male idols from SHINee, EXO, and NCT members, called SuperM.
The entertainment agency posted a teaser photo on its Twitter, showcasing GOT’s members, including BoA, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa’s Karina and Winter.
The group will hold a special performance on New Year’s day, potentially at SMTOWN’s upcoming free online concert via YouTube, Beyond LIVE, and LG’s U+ IDOL LIVE, to name a few streaming platforms.
