Even after an extended period, Yesung has upheld his rich and commanding vocal prowess that continues to mesmerize audiences. He stands among the top-tier vocalists within the K-pop realm.
Yesung titled his latest mini-album “Unfading Sense,” which was released in October. During the concert, he commenced with performances accompanied by a live band, starting with “Scented Things,” “Fornever,” and “Silhouette,” three tracks from his recent album. Additionally, Yesung treated the audience to renditions of “No More Love,” “Butterfly,” “Moment,” “Floral Sense,” “Beautiful,” “4 Seasons,” “Like Us,” “Ho,” and “It Has To Be You” (the official soundtrack for the 2010 drama “Cinderella’s Stepsister”).
“Nice to see you all. Now I recall, I think, there were so many times that I came back to the Philippines just to see Filipino ELFs [Everlasting Friends, the group’s fandom name]. I’m very happy to see you all more often,” he greeted the crowd.
Yesung added, “As much as I’m gonna try my best, also I have to make more effort to come see you more often. And I really want to tell all of you that these years that we’ve been together, I really want to say thank you, sincerely, for still continuing your support to come and see me every time. Thank you so much. Please stay healthy and take care of yourself until we meet again.”
The Korean superstar wrapped up his solo concert with the performances of “Together” and “I am.” Expressing heartfelt appreciation, he conveyed gratitude to Filipino Elfs for their unwavering support. He emphasized how much he values their continued presence and thanked them sincerely for consistently attending his shows over the years. He urged everyone to stay healthy and take care until their next meeting.
Yesung, recognized as one of Super Junior’s primary vocalists, is also part of the group’s unit K.R.Y. alongside Kyuhyun and Ryeowook. He made his debut in Super Junior in 2005, and the group marked their 18th anniversary last November.
