With the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, KPop tours have resumed and are achieving greater success than before. In 2023, numerous KPop artists are performing at venues worldwide, from small locations to larger stadiums. As restrictions are lifted, KPop fans globally are eager to return to concerts, making this year an ideal time to do so.
According to Billboard, here are the top 10 highest-grossing KPop Tours in 2023, based on the statistics collected from Billboard Boxscore:
- BLACKPINK ($148.3M / 703K tickets / 29 shows)
The only Asian-based artist in the all-genre top 10, BLACKPINK is the leading KPop act this year. Jisoo, Rose, Lisa and Jennie started touring in America before going to Australia, Europe and Mexico. Furthermore, they returned to the US for stadium dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and New Jersey. It’s worth noting that their group’s Asian shows were not reported.
- Suga ($57.1M / 318K tickets / 26 shows)
Suga amassed over $9 million in earnings from Los Angeles and New York, and sold upwards of 50,000 tickets in Seoul.
- TWICE ($54.2M / 345K tickets / 18 shows)
This year, TWICE performed in 18 different global markets, each time earning no less than $2 million.
- TOMORROW X TOGETHER ($46.8M / 379K tickets / 27 shows)
TXT embarked on a global tour that generated over $40 million in revenue from ticket sales. They were strong both in Los Angeles and Osaka.
- SEVENTEEN ($43.3M / 440K tickets / 12 shows)
SEVENTEEN played in seven markets including Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Seoul, earning over $40 million in ticket sales. Tokyo was the top earner with $16.8 million from four Tokyo Dome dates.
- ENHYPEN ($33M / 336K tickets / 19 show)
ENHYPEN started and ended its year with shows in Japan, selling 17,000 tickets at Nagoya’s Nippon Gaishi Hall in November, and over 76,000 at the Tokyo Dome in September.
- STRAY KIDS ($16.1M / 114K tickets / 8 shows)
Stray Kids sold over 100,000 tickets for shows in Atlanta, Fort Worth, Los Angeles, and Sydney between mid-February and early April.
- ATEEZ ($13.9M / 103K tickets / 10 shows)
The K-pop group ATEEZ played to sold-out audiences worldwide, including Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia.
- LE SSERAFIM ($7.9M / 77.5K tickets / 9 shows)
LE SSERAFIM earned seven-figure grosses in Asian markets including Seoul, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. They sold over 24,000 tickets, earning $2.3 million from two shows at Tokyo’s Yoyoghi National Stadium.
- NCT DREAM ($7M / 36.9K tickets / 4 shows)
NCT DREAM achieved stellar results touring North America and Europe in 2023.
