wave to earth announces 2nd show in manila due to public demand

South Korean indie rock band, Wave to Earth, has announced its second show in Manila due to the sell-out of the first show’s tickets.

The second performance, as announced by Wilbros Live on X, is scheduled for March 13 at the New Frontier Theater. This follows the initial “The First Era” concert at the same venue two days prior.

Due to high demand and the first concert’s tickets selling out, Wilbros added this second show. Tickets for the extra performance will be available for purchase from December 30 via TicketNet’s outlets and website.

The event, spanning two days on March 11 and 13 at the New Frontier Theater, offers tickets priced between PhP 2,800 and PhP 5,000.

Furthermore, Wave to Earth is set to perform in Singapore and Malaysia for two days. All performances, including these, have completely sold out. The band is known for its relaxed indie-pop and lo-fi tracks such as “love,” “bad,” and “seasons.”

Wave to Earth, an indie rock band from South Korea, comprises Kim Daniel, Shin Donggyu, and Cha Soonjong. Established in 2019, the band released a studio album, “0.1 Flaws and All,” in 2023.

They debuted with the single ‘wave’ in 2019 and released two EPs, “Wave 0.01” and “Summer Flows 0.02,” in 2020. In 2021, they signed with Wavy, a record label owned by Colde. Their live performance with La Poem on Naver Onstage was a notable event. Their first studio album, “0.1 Flaws and All,” launched in 2023.

Wave to Earth has participated in major South Korean rock festivals, including the Seoul Jazz Festival, Pentaport Rock Festival, and Indonesia’s The Other Festival. Their most recent achievement is a successful, sold-out North American tour in September 2023.
