Collaborative efforts from SM Entertainment, Fan Connection SEA, Slow Monday Studios, and CNCA facilitated the realization of “Yoonite in Manila.”
Yoona has showcased her acting talent in various productions such as “Big Mouth,” “Hush,” “The King in Love,” and “Love Rain.”
Yoona, born as Im Yoon-ah, made her debut as a member of Girls Generation in August 2007. In that same year, she took on a minor role in the Korean drama “Two Outs in the Ninth Inning.”
In her recent drama “King the Land,” Yoona portrayed Cheon Sa-rang, a diligent hotel employee known for popularizing the “Hermes smile.” This term refers to the bright yet artificial smile worn by The King the Land staff when interacting with guests. Sa-rang’s character attracted the interest of Goo Won (played by Lee Jun-ho), the successor to The King Group, a prominent luxury hotel conglomerate.
In the 2008 K-drama “You Are My Destiny,” Yoona took on her inaugural lead role as a character who, as an orphan, regained her eyesight following a corneal transplant.
